68.- ZONING OF ADDITIONS
Upon receipt of a petition or proposal for annexation to the town by the clerk the commission shall examine the area proposed to be annexed and determine:
A.
Its suitability for addition to the town in light of the findings required by Section 15-1-402 of the Wyoming Statutes; and
B.
The zoning district into which the addition should be made in light of the existing and adjoining land uses, street and utility capacities, and other factors.

The commission shall hold a public hearing on all proposed additions. The public hearing shall be preceded by 20 days' notice in the official town newspaper.

Following the public hearing the commission shall submit a recommendation to the council recommending for or against the proposed annexation and certifying the appropriate change in the official zoning map to include the addition, if annexed.
