§ 28-7.4

Types of Signs Prohibited.

a. 
Any sign of which all or any part is in motion by any means, including fluttering, rotating, or other moving signs set in motion by movement of the atmosphere.
b. 
Any sign displaying flashing or intermittent lights, or lights of changing degrees of intensity.
c. 
Any illuminated tubing or strings of lights outlining roof lines, door, windows or wall edges of any building.
d. 
Any sign that obscures a sign displayed by public authority for the purpose of giving traffic instructions or directions or other information.
e. 
Any sign that uses the word "stop" or "danger" or otherwise presents or implies the need or requirement of stopping or caution or the existence of danger, or which is a copy or imitation of, or which for any reason is likely to be confused with any sign displayed by a public authority.
f. 
Any sign within the area of vision clearance at the street corner of a corner lot.
g. 
Any sign that causes any direct glare into or upon any dwelling.
h. 
Any portable sign, including any sign displayed on a vehicle when used primarily for the purpose of such display.
i. 
Advertising sign.
j. 
Any "sign" structure or use that uses sound to advertise or identify the premises, owner or use in any manner.
k. 
Banner. Any lightweight plastic, fabric or other material, whether or not containing a message of any kind, suspended with a rope, wire, or string from the outside of a commercial building.
