Building height shall not exceed thirty (30) feet above the curb level or two (2) stories, whichever is lower, except when recommended by the Plan Commission and approved by the Village Board, the building height may exceed thirty (30) feet above curb level, but not higher than forty (40) feet or more than two (2) stories.
