INDUSTRIAL DISTRICTS
A.
I-1 Limited Industrial District. The purpose of the I-1 Limited Industrial District is to provide an environment suitable for industrial activities that do not create appreciable nuisances or hazards.
B.
I-2 General Industrial District. The purpose of the I-2 General Industrial District is to accommodate those industrial activities which may produce moderate nuisances or hazards in areas that are relatively remote from residential and business development.
C.
I-3 Central Industrial District. The purpose of the I-3 Central Industrial District is to accommodate existing uses within a very remote area while being conscious of the proximity to the Fox River.

An "S" indicates that a use is considered a special use in that district and must receive special use approval as required in Section 4.3 (Special Uses). A blank space or the absence of a use from the table indicates that use is not permitted within that district.
B.
In all industrial zoning districts, all storage shall be confined to completely enclosed buildings, or such storage areas must be screened by a solid wall or fence, including solid entrance and exit gates, not less than six feet and not more than eight feet in height. Motor vehicles in operable condition are not subject to this standard.
