ARTICLE III

A.- UNDEVELOPED RURAL DISTRICT UR RURAL RESIDENTIAL

Section 1. - Statement of intent.

To establish a district that would allow the development of a broad range of residential uses and a limited mix of uses that are rural in character.

Section 2. - Permitted uses.

In Undeveloped Rural District UR, no building or land shall be used and no building shall be erected, which is arranged, intended or designed to be used for other than one of the following uses:

Any use permitted, and in the same manner permitted in residential districts R-1, R-2, R-3 and R-4.

(2-2)

Agriculture, forestry and general farming.

(2-3)

Preserves and conservation areas.

(2-4)

Farm structures.

Section 3. - Sign regulations.

Sign regulations shall conform to article XV of this ordinance.

Section 4. - Minimum lot size, setback, yard and height regulations.

For residential dwellings, single family, two-family, multi-family, townhouses, apartments and other permitted uses, the setback, yard and height regulations shall conform to the regulations set out in article IV, residential district R-1. For residential dwellings, single family, two-family, multi-family, townhouses, and other permitted uses except apartments, the minimum lot size shall be consistent with the requirements of article IV, residential district R-1. For apartments the minimum lot size shall be 20,000 square feet.

Section 5. - Parking regulations.

Off street parking is required and on premises parking is regulated with open space required. Refer to article XIV of this appendix for requirements.
