C-1-A NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL DISTRICTS

Sec. 30-105.- Use regulations.

A building or premises shall be used only for the following purposes:

(1)

Any use permitted in the R-S-O District regulations. Commercial use of temporary structures and mobile homes is prohibited, except as provided in sections 30-176 and 30-177 of the City of Del Rio, Texas, zoning ordinance.

(2)

Sale and/or rental of goods and products at retail, with the exception of gasoline, diesel fuel, kerosene, LP gas, automobiles, trailers, mobile homes, motorcycles, farm equipment and machinery and earth-moving and heavy construction equipment. Provision of drive-in service windows will not be permitted for any use in the C-1-A District.

Shops for repair and servicing of bicycles, typewriters, electrical radio and television appliances, keys and similar articles.

(4)

Dressmaking, millinery, tailoring, shoe repair, laundry, drycleaning and similar trades.

(5)

Banks and other similar financial institutions.

(6)

Commercial schools, including nursery, prekindergarten, kindergarten, play, special and other private schools.

(7)

Animal hospitals and clinics where there are no open kennels.

(8)

Religious, educational and philanthropic institutions.

(9)

Personal service shops, such as beauty shops and barbershops.

(10)

Convalescent or rest homes.

(11)

Greenhouses and nurseries not primarily engaged in retail trade.

Sec. 30-106. - Height regulations.

The height regulations are the same as those in the R-S District regulations.

The area regulations are the same as those in the C-1 District regulations.

The parking regulations are the same as those in the C-1 District regulations.
