P-B PROTECTION BUFFER DISTRICTS
The P-B District is defined as that area located within a one hundred-foot radius of a one hundred-year floodplain (such flood-plain as defined by FEMA), measured laterally in all directions. A building or premises shall be used only for the following purposes:
(1)
Any use as allowed in the C-1-A District, except "animal hospitals." Any structure in the P-B District shall provide a finished floor elevation at least six (6) inches above the base flood elevation of a one hundred-year frequency storm, as delineated by FEMA.
(2)
Permanent public park structures, such as concession stand and restroom buildings, sheds, bleachers and other similar facilities.
(3)
Public and private country clubs, golf courses and other recreational uses.
(4)
Public service facilities, such as fire stations, police stations, artesian wells, pumping stations, water storage tanks and other similar facilities.
