There shall be two metal street sign posts of steel installed at each street intersection and at such places as noted below. The post shall be two and one-half inches in diameter and not less than 12 feet in length. The post shall be set in concrete having a diameter of one foot and a depth of at least three feet in the ground. The street signs shall be metal and conform with existing signs as approved by the Borough Engineer.

Where traffic control signs are deemed necessary by the board, subdivider or Borough Engineer for Borough, county or State highways, the proper Borough, county or State official shall be informed of the proposed installation in order that the proper agency may consider the necessity of the installation at its own expense.

All street name and traffic control signs shall be installed free of visual obstruction.
