40 - B-3 HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL DISTRICT

17.40.010 - Purpose.

The B-3 District is intended to provide for service oriented enterprises and for quasi-industrial and commercial enterprises that have considerable contact and a dependence upon transient trade and traffic.

17.40.020 - Permitted uses (principal).

Any principal use permitted in the B-2 district;

17.40.030 - Permitted uses (accessory).

A.

Any accessory use permitted in a B-1 district;

B.

Temporary buildings for construction not to exceed the time of such construction;

C.

Farming general.

17.40.050 - Height, area and setback requirements.

A.

Front yard setback: Twenty-five (25) feet.

B.

Side yard setback.

1.

When abutting residential or conservancy districts: Eight feet.

2.

When abutting industrial or commercial districts: None required.

C.

Rear yard setback: Twenty (20) feet.

D.

Height requirements: Thirty-five (35) feet.

E.

Minimum lot area: Ten thousand (10,000) square feet.
