If a secondary facade frontage exists, such as on a corner lot or a back entrance from a parking lot, a secondary facade sign is permitted of a maximum of 5% of the secondary business facade.
No facade sign shall extend further than 12 inches from the face of the building upon which it is attached, provided that facade signs which are perpendicular to the building may extend not more than 24" from the front and rear facade of the building, but may not exceed six square feet. The additional six square feet shall be allowed to exceed the maximum of the percentages of the front and rear facade as out lined above in Subsection 23-7.5a. Any sign projecting into the public right of way shall be at a height of at least eight feet and shall require an agreement by the owner to hold harmless and indemnify the Township from claims.
