Ground signs are permitted within the B-1 B-2 and the B-3 Zones. In the SC-1, SC-2 and in the ML-1 and ML-2 Zones, ground signs are permitted to identify major permitted housing projects. Ground signs are allowed in conjunction with the following approved conditional uses: houses of worship, public schools, private nonprofit schools and institutions of higher learning, nonprofit chartered membership organizations, farms, public buildings, playgrounds, golf clubs and offices of charitable organizations.
