31 - P/OS PARKS/OPEN SPACE DISTRICT
The purpose of the parks/open space (POS) district is to establish and preserve areas for parks and open spaces, as well as promote the public health, safety and welfare by providing land use controls for those areas set aside for parks and open spaces.

A.
The following uses are permitted outright in the P/OS district:
1.
Private and public regional, community, neighborhood, pocket and conservation parks, open spaces and trails as defined in the Bullhead City general plan;
2.
Archaeological or historic site;
3.
Accessory uses necessary and related to the operation of the parks, open spaces and trails;
4.
Other uses determined to be similar and not detrimental to the public health, safety and welfare of the community.

A.
The following uses may be permitted within the R1L district subject to conditional use permit application and hearing procedures set forth in Chapter 17.08 of this code.
1.
Towers and antennas in accordance with Chapter 17.40 of this code.
2.
Other uses determined to be similar and not detrimental to the public health, safety and welfare of the community.

The provisions of the D6 density district shall apply in the P/OS zoning district.
