54 - LANDSCAPING

16.54.010 - Plan review.

All site plans for other than single-family dwellings shall require a landscaping plan for review and approval by the planning board.

16.54.020 - Street trees.

Street trees are required for all major subdivisions, with a spacing of forty (40) feet on center. Street trees should be placed along the right-of-way line or within the easement area beyond the street line, if provided.

16.54.030 - Trees in the Kings Highway historical district.

In the rural Kings Highway historical district, two rows of trees on each side of the highway shall be planted fifty (50) feet on center with twenty (20) feet separating the two rows. The sidewalk and/or bikeway shall be installed between the two rows of trees. Street trees shall have a three to three and one-half inch caliper, measured two feet from the ball.
