This chapter is adopted for the purpose of promoting health, safety, morals, general welfare, securing safety from fire, flood, and other dangers, preventing the overcrowding of land or buildings, and with the view of conserving the value of property and encouraging the most appropriate use of land and buildings within the Borough.
