Swimming pools and hot tubs must receive permits from the Borough, County, and/or State authorities having jurisdiction prior to applying for a permit from the construction official for installing, altering, enlarging, or constructing a pool or hot tub. Certified copies of these approvals shall be filed as part of the data for the application for the permit.

A building permit shall be required for the installation, alteration or enlargement of any hot tub which exceeds 24 inches in depth or to be installed on an elevated deck. All pool construction and inspections must be completed within 60 days of the issuance of a pool permit.
