80 - CERTIFICATE OF ZONING COMPLIANCE

20.80.010 - When required.

Subsequent to the effective date of the ordinance codified in this title, no change in the use or occupancy of land, nor any change of use or occupancy in an existing building other than for single family dwelling purposes, shall be made, nor shall any new building be occupied until a certificate of zoning compliance has been issued by the zoning administrator. Every certificate of zoning compliance shall state that the new occupancy complies with all provisions of this title.

20.80.020 - Mobile trailers—Nonconforming location.

Special certificate of zoning compliance shall be required for all mobile trailers that are in nonconforming locations. Special certificates of zoning compliance for such trailers shall be temporary and shall expire on January lst of each year and shall be obtained within sixty days of July 8, 1965. A fee of two dollars shall be charged for each special occupancy permit for a trailer.

20.80.030 - Excavation, erection, alteration and occupancy of building.

No permit for excavation for, or the erection or alteration of, any building shall be issued before the application has been made and approved for a certificate of zoning compliance and no building or premises shall be occupied until such certificate and permit is issued.

20.80.040 - Records required.

A record of all certificates of zoning compliance shall be kept on file in the office of the zoning administrator, and shall be available for inspection during business hours.
