The zoning districts established by this chapter and by further amendments or zone changes shall be delineated on an official map maintained by the clerk and displayed at the town's business office.

The zoning districts will be bounded by the centerlines of public streets, alleys, will follow lot lines established in recorded plats or may follow natural boundaries or terrains, such as canals, rivers, or floodplain boundaries.

Each zoning district permits certain land uses as a matter of right and others as conditional uses subject to review and approval of the planning commission. Within each zoning district certain performance standards apply to all land uses or structures whether permitted as uses of right or conditional uses.
