The Building Subcode Official shall not issue any permit for the erection, construction, reconstruction, structural alteration, enlargement or moving of any building or structure or part thereof, or issue any certificate for the use or occupancy of any building, structure or land, or part thereof, where the same would be in violation of any of the provisions of this chapter. It shall be the further duty of the Building Subcode Official to report to the Zoning Enforcement Officer any violation of this chapter coming to his attention, whether by complaint or arising from his own personal knowledge.
