CHAPTER 1167

R-1-S Single-Family Residence District

1167.01 PURPOSE.

   The purpose of the residence district is to provide an area for residential uses and those public and semi-public uses normally considered an integral part of the residential neighborhood they serve. (Ord. 42-83. Passed 5-23-83.)

1167.02 PERMITTED USES.

   (a)   Any use permitted in the R-S District, except as hereinafter modified.
   (b)   One-family dwellings.
   (c)   Accessory uses. (Ord. 42-83. Passed 5-23-83.)

1167.03 ACCESSORY USES.

   Accessory uses or structures permitted and as regulated in the R-S District, and any accessory use or structure customarily incident or accessory to a principal or conditional permitted use in the R-1 District; except that the raising or keeping of farm animals shall not be permitted on any lands used or platted for residential purposes. (Ord. 42-83. Passed 5-23-83.)

1167.04 HEIGHT.

   No structure shall exceed two and one-half stories or thirty feet in height.

1167.05 YARDS.

   All residential structures shall have the following minimum yard spaces:
