88.- TRANSITION ZONING
Where a district boundary line as established in this title or as shown on the zoning district map divides a lot which was in single ownership and of record at the time of the adoption of the ordinance from which this title is derived upon October 4, 1965, or by subsequent amendments, the requirements applying to the least restricted portion of such lot shall be considered as extending to the entire lot, provided the more restricted portion of such lot is entirely within 200 feet of said dividing district boundary line. The use so extended shall be deemed to be conforming.

Where a lot in a business or industrial district abuts a lot in a residential district, or is separated by a dedicated street or alley, there shall be provided on the lot in the business or industrial district along such abutting line a yard equal in width or depth to that required in the residential district.

Where the frontage on one side of a street between two intersecting streets is zoned partly as residential and partly as business or industrial, the front yard depth in the business or industrial district between such two streets shall be equal to the required front yard depth of the residential district.

In the case of a reverse corner lot where the rear of a lot in a business or industrial district abuts upon the side of a lot in any residential district, the business or industrial district lot shall have a rear yard of not less than five feet; provided, further, that where a public alley separates the rear of the lot in the residential district, no rear yard shall be required.
