11.- INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT
The industrial district (M1) is intended to provide for the location of sexually oriented businesses and the development of industrial areas, including commercial and industrial uses that are nonpolluting and are compatible with the environmental character of the community, provide essential areas for industrial development, the location of sexually oriented businesses and provide employment opportunities for the community.

The following standards and requirements shall apply to all uses in the M1 district:
(a)
Except for uses specifically stated in sections 26-14-15 and 26-14-15.1, all permitted uses shall be conducted within a building.
(b)
All service, fabrication, repair operations, and storage of materials shall be enclosed and screened by an opaque fence at least six (6) feet in height.
(c)
All loading and unloading of materials shall be conducted on private property.
(d)
The following performance standards shall be met:
(1)
Smoke. No smoke shall be emitted at a density that exceeds #1 on the Ringelmann Chart.
(2)
Particulate matter. No particulate matter shall be emitted which exceeds zero point two (0.2) grains per cubic foot of flue gas at stack temperature of five hundred (500) degrees Fahrenheit.
(3)
Dust, odors, gas, fumes, noise, glare or vibrations. No emission of these matters shall result in a concentration at or beyond the property lines containing such use that is detrimental to the health, safety or general welfare of the public, as defined by the state health department.
