The planning commission as created by section 4.14 of the Charter shall consist of seven (7) members and shall have the duties and jurisdiction as set forth in the Charter, this chapter, and chapter 5 of this Code of Ordinances.

The planning commission shall hold meetings and hearings on a date and hour designated by the planning commission. All meetings and hearings shall be open to the public and shall be governed by the following rules:

(a)

Public notice shall be given of all hearings pursuant to section 26-16-9.

(b)

Due notice shall be given to all parties in interest.

(c)

All evidence and testimony shall be presented publicly.

(d)

The proceeding shall be electronically recorded.
