GENERAL ZONING DISTRICT PROVISIONS

3000.1: ESTABLISHMENT OF DISTRICTS:

The following zoning districts are hereby established within the city:
Agricultural Districts:

Agricultural rural district
A-2
Agricultural transitional district
Residential Districts:
R-1A
Residential low density single-family district
R-1
Residential single-family district
R-2
Residential single- and two-family district

Residential single- and two-family district

3000.2: ZONING DISTRICT BOUNDARIES:

Zoning district boundary lines of this ordinance generally follow lot lines, the center of railroad right of way lines, the center of street rights of way, the center of watercourses or the corporate limit lines, all as they exist upon the effective date hereof.
   A.   Appeals concerning the exact location of a zoning district boundary line shall be heard by the council serving as the board of adjustment and appeals.
   B.   When any street, alley or public right of way is vacated by official action of the city, the zoning district abutting the centerline of said alley or other public right of way shall not be affected by such proceeding. (Ord. 1988-12, 12-19-1988)

3000.3: MAP:

The location and boundaries of the districts established by this text are hereby set forth on the zoning map entitled "Zoning Map Of Albertville". Said map shall be on file with the zoning administrator and hereinafter referred to as the "zoning map"; which map, and all the notations, references and other information shown thereon, shall have the same force and effect as if fully set forth herein and thereby made a part of this ordinance by reference. 3000.4: ANNEXED TERRITORY:

Annexed territory shall be designated in the A-1 district, unless special action pursuant to chapter 300 of this ordinance is taken to place it in another district. (Ord. 1988-12, 12-19-1988)
