§ 108-5.3

Greenbelt and Waterfront District standards.

The following standards apply to the Greenbelt and Waterfront Districts:
A. 
The negative impacts on environmental and scenic resources of any new development shall be minimized.
B. 
Existing tree rows and hedgerows, stone walls, and similar features shall be retained in the development of any new use or the expansion of any existing use.
C. 
The number of off-street parking spaces required shall be the minimum necessary to adequately serve the intended use.
D. 
The primary means of access to lots shall be via the existing street corridors to minimize the number of new streets created.
E. 
All new streets shall be designed with rural characteristics, including narrower rights-of-way, minimal tree clearing, minimal grading and filling of existing topography, and usage of natural drainage where practicable.
F. 
On-street parking is discouraged.
