§ 108-6.2

General provisions

A. 
Nonconforming uses. Except as otherwise provided in this article, any use lawfully existing at the effective date of this chapter or any amendment thereto which does not comply with the requirements of this chapter solely by virtue of said enactment or amendment shall be deemed a nonconforming use and may be continued as provided herein.
B. 
Nonconforming structures. Except as otherwise provided in this article, any structure lawfully existing at the effective date of this chapter or any amendment thereto which does not comply with the requirements of this chapter solely by virtue of said enactment or amendment shall be deemed a nonconforming structure and may be continued as provided herein. A one-family or two-family dwelling which does not satisfy the dimensional requirements of this chapter for the district in which it is located, but which was not in violation of applicable requirements when constructed, shall not be subject to the requirements of this article.
