INSTITUTIONAL ZONE

17.82.010 PURPOSE

The purpose of the I-1 institutional zone is to provide areas where buildings, facilities and parks necessary and beneficial to operation of the city government and relevant to the well being of Smithfield City may locate and operate. The regulations of the zone are designed to protect and preserve the environment of the zone, adjacent area and the entire county.

17.82.020 ALLOWED USES

Those uses which are allowed in the I-1 institutional zone either as a permitted use or a conditional use shall be as specified in SMC 17.120, "Use Matrix Table", of this title.

17.82.040 HEIGHT REGULATIONS

No building or structure shall be erected to a height greater than three (3) stories or fifty feet (50'), whichever is greater.
