§ 23-6.19

Loading Space Required.

No building or premises shall be built or erected, nor shall any building be altered so as to expand its gross area, nor shall there be a change of use of any building or premises unless there is provided off-street loading space upon the same premises upon which the use or building is located in accordance with the requirements of the Schedule of Minimum Loading Space Requirements:

Retail/Service Uses
1 space for each 10,000 square feet or fraction thereof, but in no case less than 1 per building of at least 2,000 square feet
Other Business And Commercial Uses, Places Of Public Assembly And Schools
1 per building of at least 2,000 square feet
Manufacturing, Research, Laboratories
1 space for each 5,000 square feet or fraction thereof
Motorcycle Dealer
1 space per building except that the temporary use of a parking lot aisle may be accepted as a compliant loading space if the loading is demonstrated to occur on off-peak business hours.
Warehouse (Ancillary)
1 space for each 10,000 square feet or fraction thereof in excess of the first 10,000 square feet.
