§ 23-13.2
One Family or Two Family Dwellings.

Where a one-family or two-family dwelling has become non-conforming because of a change in zone, an increase in minimum lot dimensions, an increase in minimum front, side, or rear yard dimensions or an increase in parking requirements, the owner shall be permitted to make a structural change or addition provided:
a.
There is no increase in the number of dwelling units.
b.
There is no elimination of an existing garage.
c.
There is no decrease in off-street parking facilities.
d.
The addition sought does not in itself create a violation.
e.
The addition or change meets all other minimum requirements of the Township of Belleville.
