The Highway Commercial Zone (CH-1) is intended to permit development of service uses relating to expressways or other locations along major thoroughfares. At certain access points, food, lodging, motor vehicle service and fuel can be made conveniently available to the thoroughfare user.
A. Auto and truck-oriented uses.
B. Commercial recreational facilities.
C. Hotels, motels and convention facilities.
F. Bed and breakfast inns.
B. Schools - specialized private instruction.
3. Dimensional Requirements.
A. Minimum Lot Area: None
B. Minimum Lot Width: 100 feet
C. Minimum Lot Frontage: None
D. Minimum Yards: (Along U.S. Highway 18, no building or structure shall be built closer than sixty (60) feet from the edge of slab of said U.S. Highway 18.)
E. Maximum Building Bulk:
(1) Height - 45 feet (If any building or structure is to be located in an area regulated by the Mason City Municipal Airport Zoning Ordinance, any lower height regulation of such ordinance shall prevail.)
