ZONING DISTRICTS RELATION TO COMPREHENSIVE PLAN.

Article 4 includes criteria whereby rezoning requests are evaluated for their consistency with the current, adopted City of Griffin Comprehensive Plan. The intent of the zoning districts described herein is to fulfill the planning and land use policy established by the Comprehensive Plan and its Future Land Use map, whereby zoning districts appropriately correspond to the land use categories on the Future Land Use Map as follows:
