It shall be the intent of this zoning district to provide for the conservation and maintenance of land resources of the City of Griffin, Georgia, used for farming, agriculture, livestock, husbandry, timber and related purposes. The regulations, which apply within this district, are designed to encourage the formation and continuance of a stable, economically healthy and compatible environment for farming uses. These regulations are also intended to reduce traffic congestion, provide adequate off-street parking, avoid the development of "strip" type business areas and discourage encroachment by other uses capable of adversely affecting the farming character of the district.
