The airport overlay district (AOD) is intended to protect an environment for the viable conduct of a general aviation airport facility. These regulations are also designed to encourage and foster the formation and continuance of uses compatible with a general aviation airport, uses compatible with a general business park and preserves undeveloped airport uses that are suitable for such activities.
