Where permitted as a special use, veterinary services for animal specialties shall meet the following use and development standards: (5/98)

A.

Building required. Except as provided in subsection B of this section, all operations shall be conducted within completely enclosed and soundproof buildings and overnight stay shall be limited to short-term care that is incidental to the practice of veterinary medicine. (6/15)

Outside runs. Outside runs for dogs and other animals shall be operated only between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., with an attendant present on the premises. Outside runs shall be located at least 50 feet from every lot in a residential zone. Outside runs shall be screened from adjacent lots and streets in residential zones by a sight-obscuring fence, wall, or hedge. (5/98)
