The purpose of this district is to provide an appropriate area of the Township to promote a variety of housing opportunities including senior citizens along with neighborhood retail and service uses or professional offices or medical facilities. The district provides for both single-family uses permitted as of right and an option to permit conditional uses offering a mix of uses. The conditional use option shall be designed to be compatible with the character of the surrounding area.

A.

Principal uses.

1.

Single-family residential uses as regulated in the R-1 Residence Zone.

2.

Any other uses as permitted and regulated in the R-1 Residence Zone.

3.

Public housing owned and operated by the Morris County Housing Authority.

B.

Conditional uses pursuant to the requirements of section 15-35.

Planned Residential Development (PRD).

2.

Planned Senior Citizen Development (PSCD).
