Any territory which may hereafter be annexed to the City will be classified automatically as being in an “A-1” General Agricultural District until such classification shall have been changed by amendment of this Zoning Code as provided for hereinafter. Within 30 days following the completion of any annexation, the Planning and Zoning Commission will proceed to make a recommendation(s) to the Council as to the appropriate zoning classification designation(s) for the annexed area(s).
