Within sixty (60) days after the filing of a completed application, the Planning and Zoning Commission shall hold a public hearing on such application for a Text Amendment or Rezoning. Notice shall be given as prescribed in Section 5.800. At the public hearing, the Planning and Zoning Commission shall review the application or the proposal and shall receive pertinent evidence relating to consistency with the objectives of this ordinance, the Comprehensive Plan and the development policies of the City.
