Unless specifically exempted, a permit must be obtained from the Zoning Officer for all signs erected, altered or relocated within the Township of Lafayette. Exemptions from the necessity of securing a permit, however, shall not be construed to relieve the owner involved from the responsibility for the erection and maintenance of the sign in a safe manner and in a manner in accordance with all other provisions of this section.
