Except when it is shown on an approved site plan, a permit is required for the following signs:

Home office sign.

Private club and multi-family sign.
c. 
Private directional sign.
d. 
Bank ATM sign.
e. 
Wall sign.
f. 
Ground sign.
g. 
Directory of occupants sign.
h. 
Gasoline service station sign.
i. 
Shingle sign.
j. 
Awning sign.
k. 
Canopy sign.
l. 
Bench sign.
