Street name signs meeting Township specifications as to size, material and location shall be installed at the intersections of all streets and at appropriate curves on curvilinear and similar streets.

No street shall have a name which will duplicate or so nearly duplicate the name of an existing street that confusion results. The continuation of an existing street shall have the same name.

Where traffic control signs are deemed necessary by the approving authority and Township Engineer for Township or County roads, the proper Township or County official shall be so informed in order that the proper agency may evaluate the necessity of the installation at its own expense.

All street name and traffic control signs shall be installed free of visual obstruction.
