60.020.- HEIGHT, MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE AND ENCROACHMENTS

16.60.020.1.- Applicability.

Height limitations as indicated in the schedule of zoning district regulations shall apply to buildings and portions of buildings designed for human occupancy, and shall not apply to steeples, minarets, belfries, bell towers, or other non-occupiable architectural features, nor to elevator lift housing, air conditioning units, or other structures which are covered by this section.

16.60.020.2. - Maximum allowable height.

The term "maximum allowable height" means the maximum, overall height allowed. The maximum heights identified within this table shall supersede the maximum heights permitted within the zoning district regulations in the event of a conflict:

16.60.020.3. - Additional height bonus.

The term "additional height bonus" means the total number of feet allowed to exceed the maximum height permitted within the zoning district regulations. When a variance to height has been granted, no additional height bonus which is set forth in this section is allowed.

Architectural feature, non-occupiable—downtown districts (e.g., spire, crown lighting, cornice, or other similar feature, excluding antennae) except belfries or bell towers 50 ft.
