50.420.- UTILITY PLANT AND STORAGE

This section shall apply to utility plant and storage uses.

This section is not intended to regulate or restrict the location of utility lines, poles, and related facilities.

Utility plant and storage uses shall be allowed as provided in the Matrix: Use Permissions and Parking Requirements and shall comply with the development standards of the zoning district, the general development standards, this section, and, if applicable, the Florida Electric Power Plant Siting Act (F.S. § 403.501 et seq.) and the Florida Transmission Line Siting Act, (F.S. § 403.52 et seq.).

A.
The primary driveway and parking area shall be constructed of a paved surface such as concrete or asphalt. Secondary driveways on the property may be constructed of crushed shell, gravel, or a similar surface.
B.
A solid fence or wall at least five feet high shall be constructed around the perimeter of the property.
C.
The exterior of any fence or wall facing a street (not alley) shall be landscaped according to the landscaping and irrigation section.
D.
These uses shall be exempt from the restrictions for impervious surface and building height.
