State Law reference— Statewide minimum standards for the care and protection of children in child care facilities, F.S. § 402.301 et seq.
This section shall apply to child care facility uses.

Child care facility uses shall be allowed as provided in the Matrix: Use Permissions and Parking Requirements and shall comply with the development standards of the zoning district, the general development standards and this section.

A.
The perimeter of outdoor activity areas such as playgrounds and patios shall be screened by a solid fence or wall at least six feet high which complies with the fences, walls and hedges regulation section.
B.
Outdoor activity areas are not allowed in yards abutting single-family residential uses, unless separated by a street.
C.
Playground and athletic equipment shall comply with the required building setbacks for accessory structures.

Vehicles shall be directed toward main roads and not into residential neighborhoods.
B.
A use operating within a single-family residence is exempt from parking regulations.

Signage shall be regulated as set forth in the sign section for the respective zoning district.
